Department of Nephrology and transplantation
The department of nephrology provides care to patients with kidney diseases, having facility for outdoor treatment, critical care nephrology and general nephrology.
We offer diagnostic and therapeutic services for kidney diseases. It offers care for both adult and pediatric patients with kidney diseases. It includes state of the art hemodialysis and hemofiltration unit. It also had dedicated ICU dialysis facility as well as bed side dialysis with portable RO plant. Other services offered include kidney biopsy, plasmapheresis and peritoneal dialysis. We plan to offer live as well as deceased donor kidney transplantation. The department is headed by Dr Bipin munjappa who had more than 12 years of nephrology experience and supported by team of dialysis technicians, renal nurses.
The department outdoor facility (OPD NO 107) is located on first floor of hospital building.
